Handy (Amiga port by Amigan Software) Screenshot

Handy is an Atari Lynx emulator. It is quite compatible and most ROMs should work flawlessly.

The Amiga elements have been backported from OS4.0 to OS3.0, also replacing the 0.80 emulation core with the 0.95 core and adding features.

The improvements in this version (as compared to the OS4.0 version) include:

Some of these features (eg. LSS2 saving, ALR support) are unique to the Amiga version of Handy 0.95.

AHI sound is available but is turned off by default for speed (SOUND to turn it on). Keyboard, joystick (2-button joysticks are best) and CD32 joypad (JOYPAD) are supported for input.

The emulator only runs in its own screen. Most features of the Windows version are not available.

You will need a very fast Amiga to achieve adequate performance. You can run it either in a 320-pixel wide AGA screen, or in an 8-bitplane (256 colour) CyberGraphX (or Picasso96 emulating CyberGraphX) screen. There is optional AHI sound.

Maybe you could run some patches such as BlazeWCP or FBlit to increase the speed. These have not been tested with Handy but should help performance.

Features:

Requires: 68040+, OS3.0+, AGA/CGX, 16Mb RAM.
Recommended: OS4/MorphOS, AHI, CGX.

This is James Jacobs`s port of Handy to the Amiga platform. It has great compatibility and runs at or near full speed. It`s one of two great choices for Atari Lynx emulation on the Amiga platform. Bazzie Bizzle.com recommends trying this port and the one by Mathias Roslund. Both are great emulators, just pick your favorite.
