kat5200 - Bazzie Bizzle.com

kat5200 is an emulator for the Atari 5200 and 8-bit line of computers.

The source code has been compiled and run on Windows XP and on Ubuntu Linux. See the README and documentation for details. Windows version requires the Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable.

kat5200 is a new up and coming Atari 8-bit emulator and looks very promising. It's coded in C++, but seems to be quite fast in spite of this fact. It also features a GUI, high compatibility, and a command line debugger (a GUI is planned for the debugger as well). It`s one of only a handful of Atari emulators that are still in active development and although it's a newcomer, it's one of our recommended downloads for the Atari 5200 and 8 bit line of computers.
