- Some excerpts edited for grammar, length, and clarity

StellaX was the name given to the official Windows port of Stella by author Jeff Miller. He maintained the Windows version until release 1.2. The next author to maintain the Windows port of Stella was Manuel Polik, who called it CyberStella. Currently the maintainer is Stephen Anthony, who simply calls it Stella.

Cyberstella was the second port of Stella to the Windows platform. It`s rather outdated now and is short on features. As you could imagine, it`s compatibility is also behind current versions. You should get the latest official Windows build unless you have some technical issue with the later Stella ports or you want your GUI to match other Windows applications.
